    Attachments are Attachments ar              I happened to see this photograph of Rahul Dravid and why he declined the honour given to him, I was really surprised. Only then did I read his statement that his mother was 55 when she got her doctorate and it took seven long years for his wife to get a degree.             This was the thought of a young energetic man who could easily take all the honours conferred upon him.               These are the days of fast food ...... And fast degrees that could match up to a person's changing statuses. Who is a good student?

               These days we often come across this question. Many a times its shocking to hear the standards assigned by teachers in general regarding students. An excellent student is the one who is very silent; always polite; always into learning; and so on........                 It's really shocking to say that at each stage what we expect from students are stereotyped behaviour which is totally impossible at such a young age.                 Youth is a time of disapproval of rules and  rebelliousness all rolled into one. A Tribute to my Profession

Three decades of teaching as a profession which was indeed a passion from my childhood days to this very year when I am in the threshold of 52. Even to this day whenever I look into a student's eye; I behold a lovely human-being who silently pleads: me too; entrusted in your care. I know not whether you care or not.               I've always loved them unconditionally. Never had a tiff with them nor found them unruly or awful.                 To this day of my professional life all the credit of my teaching goes sincerely to my teacher's who were so noble, simple and elegant.                    Out of my experience I've come to understand that the impeccable wisdom and a very practical attitude of a teacher can be of immense effect on a student.  ...
